Boston is a 3h bus ride away (1.5-2h drive). Manchester is a 1h drive away. I don't know how long the bus takes. I would guess 2h. Usually Enfield doesn't show up on maps. Hanover and Lebanon are near by, as is White River Junction VT. The Lebanon Airport is tiny and expensive and right next to the Fireside Inn which has a free shuttle (that goes ONLY to the airport).

There will be 2 School Buses to take people to the ceremony. Please ride the bus if you can, event parking is very limited. They will arrive at noon at the Fireside Inn and leave for the ceremony at 12:15. The ride should be about 20min to a half an hour, leaving you with 15min to find the best spot in the small clearing.

This is a wicked awesome event. Guests are encouraged to arrive in tasteful costumes, preferably with a medieval flair. Guests are also encouraged to bring a jacket or shawl or cloak for the evening, and to wear flat shoes, as we will have a short walk through the woods. Local weather in Sept for the past 6 years.

Things to Do
I'm sorry to say, there is nothing to do in NH.

...

Just kidding. We live right by the Rail Trail. Its a lovely walk.

The FireSide Inn also has a list of things to do.

There is a lovely hiking trail called Velvet Rock (short 2h easy hike)
behind the Hanover Co-op. That is where Nick proposed to me. *happiness*
I can't find a map of the trail, but I'd be happy to give you directions.

There are plenty of other, more challenging hiking trails in the area.

If you are up for some boating, we live right by Mascoma Lake.
You can rent a boat from the Shaker Village Sailing Club (I think)
or row down the Connecticut River in a canoe from Dartmouth's Ledyard Canoe Club.
